BestNest Migrates to Clermont County

Clermont County is pleased to welcome BestNest to its business community. Founded in 1999 by a father and son team, BestNest is an online retailer of backyard and garden products. In addition to the retail site, BestNest is a wholesale distributor to birding stores, garden centers, landscapers and other specialty retailers and stocks over 8,000 backyard nature and outdoor decor products.

BestNest has relocated from Blue Ash to a Union Township facility, where it has signed a five year lease for 51,000 square feet. BestNest management stated that Clermont County was a logical choice for relocation because of the low tax rate, attractively priced property, and close proximity to shipping hubs.

With the spring selling season fast approaching, BestNest anticipates total employment to reach 20 employees. In the past two years, BestNest has grown its product selection by approximately 35% and expects an additional 25% growth and stocking over 10,000 total products.  

In 2008, BestNest was featured in the Inc. 500 Top 100 list of consumer product companies. Having 2007 revenue of $9.9 million, BestNest has experienced over 200% growth. For four consecutive years, the company has achieved Bizrate's Circle of Excellence award rating for customer service and has been repeatedly listed as a Cincinnati Business Courier Fast 55 company.
