Transportation availability around Clermont County, OH

Clermont County is located in Southwestern Ohio just 20 minutes east of downtown Cincinnati. The I-275 beltway provides the County with easy access to Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana via I-71, I-75, and I-74. U.S. Highways 50 and 52 also traverse the entire County. Over 40% of the US population lives within a one-day drive of Clermont County. Major metropolitan areas such as Atlanta, Indianapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Memphis, St. Louis, and Washington DC can be reached in a one-day drive from Clermont County.

Bus Transportation

Clermont Transportation Connection (CTC)

CTC is a door-to-door public transit service that picks up customers at one place (home or an office, for instance) and delivers them somewhere else. Customers request service by telephone. CTC provides service all over Clermont County, Mercy Hospital Anderson, and other Anderson Township medical offices. At times, you also will be able to connect to Cincinnati's Metro Bus System. Buses operate from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The busiest times of the day are 6 to 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 5 p.m.

Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA)

SORTA is the regional bus transportation system for the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. Two Park & Ride stops are located in Clermont County: at the Milford Kroger located at Lila and Main in Milford, and at the Union Township Civic Center located at 4350 Aicholtz Blvd. in Union Township.

Rail Transportation

Four major railroad systems serve the Cincinnati region. Amtrak, CSX, and Conrail serve the entire region, and Norfolk Southern provides railroad service to southeast Indiana and southwest Ohio. Clermont County is served by a Norfolk and Southern line, with connections to several other regional lines.
