On November 15, 2005, The Cincinnati Enquirer and Cincinnati Regional Chamber of Commerce recognized the "Deloitte Cincinnati USA 100," the top 100 privately held businesses in the region. Seven Clermont County firms were included in the rankings, which are based on annual revenue at private firms headquartered in the 18-county region.
The Jeff Wyler Automotive Family was Clermont’s highest ranking company, as the Cincinnati area’s 9th largest business. The Jeff Wyler Automotive Family also distinguished itself by being one of only 16 firms that have made the list every year since its inception 22 years ago. The Lykins Companies rose to 11th from its position as the 21st largest in 2004. The Milford-based company is focused on wholesale and retail petroleum sales and marketing. ELS HR Solutions, a national human resources outsourcing company, ranked 34th. That Clermont company was followed by Pro Mach Inc., a packaging machinery manufacturer headquartered in Loveland, which made its list debut this year. Union Township automotive retailer Mark Williams Dealer Group garnered the 41st spot. Logistics provider Total Quality Logistics was the fastest moving Clermont firm, rising from the 88th position where it debuted in 2004 to the 52nd position in 2005. Kaeser and Blair Inc, a Batavia firm that creates promotional advertising products, rounded out the Clermont County entrants by ranking 70th.
