
About the Land Bank
The Clermont County Land Reutilization Corporation (Land Bank) is a nonprofit community improvement organization which was incorporated in November 2021. The Board of County Commissioners contracted with the Community & Economic Development Department to act as the administrative agency for the Land Bank. The quasi-government entity will work to return derelict, abandoned and non-tax producing properties back to the market by remediating issues that make them undesirable.
Land Bank Meetings
The Land Bank Board of Directors sets a meeting schedule each calendar year which is subject to change and is based on the need to conduct official business. Meetings are held at 2:00 pm in the Clermont County Administration Building, 101 East Main Street, Third Floor Conference Room, Batavia, Ohio unless otherwise noted.

Powers of the Land Bank
- The broad powers granted under Ohio Revised Code Chapter 5722 provide for the Land Bank to facilitate community improvements through the following methods:
- Acquire and consolidate vacant parcels through purchases, donations, or intergovernmental transfer from public foreclosure holdings;
- Clear title to land and prepare parcels for transfer to third party for redevelopment or reuse;
- Mitigate blight to stimulate economic development;
- Access grant funding.
